Volume Thanksgiving Day Parade

Students in Mrs. Manley and Mrs. Hallock's 5th Grade Math classes created a Volume Thanksgiving Day Parade. After researching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, students created floats with rectangular prisms. Students measured the length, width, and height of each prism and found the volume. Lastly, they solved the composite volume of their entire float! The 5th grade Invaders had fun parading their project around WSIS and putting them on display in the front lobby of the school! Nice work! "
